OPEN SELECTION PROCESS BEGINS
Road Rage Jewelry® wants to offer an original concept/creative writing contest on its website by introducing a viral fictional novel written by Road Rage Jewelry® fans . We believe this is a first-of-a-kind contest being offered, and we are very excited! Road Rage Jewelry® is creative and so are its fans. So, here's the deal:
We have a mystery writer who has already set the stage with some of the characters. By utilizing the names of the various street series, hazard, busted, and pay-it-forward signs at our website, our mystery writer has opened a storyline. You – the fan - will get to write against the mystery writer in every other chapter, by creating more characters, incorporating Road Rage Jewelry® signs, and continuing and developing the story. Keep an eye out on the site, as we will be adding more pieces as we go.
Where these road stories lead to only Road Rage Jewelry® fans and our mystery writer will determine. As a chapter writer, if you want your identity kept private, you can create an avatar. If you want your name used, that's okay too.
Will it be a love story? A whodunit? Sci-fi? Your guess is as good as ours. Words and symbols are powerful ways to express yourself. So, are you a comic; a lover; zany or just plain over-the-top? We want to know.
Our “open selection process” has begun for our next fan chapter writer. You will then have up to 21 days to send us your chapter. A panel will then select the chapter that will be posted at http://roadragejewelry.wordpress.com/
Don’t give up! Keep submitting during each open selection week and hang on to any chapters previously submitted.
If needed, submissions will only be edited for punctuation, tense and spelling. We only ask that you try to keep it rated PG-13. We will publish the selected chapter near the end of each month if not sooner. Our mystery writer will then pick up the story from where you left off.
Be creative! Novels are divided into chapters to give its readers breaks and to heighten the suspense. Remember, your chapter is to introduce your character and continue the storyline. On average, 3 to 10 pages (picture a paperback) should be sufficient.
Each fan selected will get to create their own Road Rage necklace based on the character signage they utilized from the website. Since no two people are alike, neither are characters. Who hasn't at one time, become attached to a character they read about? We will then post that chapter writer’s design at our website. If you love it, then get it.
